Job Title: Car Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Car Mechanic to join our team. As a Car Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing problems with cars, trucks, and other vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair problems with engines, transmissions, brakes, and other vehicle systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues
- Estimate repair costs and communicate with clients
- Work with other mechanics and technicians to complete projects
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer updates and repair techniques

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience as a Car Mechanic or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, tools, and materials
- ASE certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a garage setting
- Good communication skills and ability to work with clients

Certifications/Licenses:

- ASE certification (or willingness to obtain)
- State-specific licenses (if required)

Working Conditions:

- Work will be performed in a garage or shop setting
- May be required to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
