Job Title: Carpenter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our construction team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as cabinets, shelving, and furniture
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools
- Assemble and join materials using nails, screws, and adhesives
- Install doors, windows, and roofing materials
- Perform finish carpentry tasks such as sanding, staining, and finishing
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience as a carpenter or in a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Certifications/ Licenses:

- OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Carpentry certification or license (or willingness to obtain)

Working Conditions:

- Work will be performed on construction sites, both indoors and outdoors
- May be required to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
