Job Title: Structure Fitter

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Structure Fitter to join our construction team. As a Structure Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and fitting together structural components, such as steel beams, columns, and piping, to form the framework of buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
- Assemble and fit together structural components using hand and power tools
- Install and align structural members, such as beams and columns
- Connect piping and ducting systems
- Ensure accurate fitting and alignment of components
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience as a Structure Fitter or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of structural fitting techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Certifications/Licenses:

- OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Certification in structural fitting or a related field (e.g., welding, pipefitting)

Working Conditions:

- Work will be performed on construction sites, both indoors and outdoors
- May be required to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
